Bela is a Medellín-born artist whose music transforms personal growth into cultural expression—rooted in discipline, honesty, and the belief that art can inspire and endure.

*Who are you?*

I'm Isabela, a Colombian artist and songwriter with a deep passion for writing in all its forms, as well as for sports and nature.

*Where are you from?*

I'm from Medellín, Colombia.

*What are you up to these days?*

I've been preparing for my debut as an artist, working on my first album. This journey has been one of self-discovery and exploration, leading me to believe in myself, my sound, and what I have to say to the world. I’ve also been working as a songwriter on several projects that I love.

*What makes Medellín such a creative place?*

I believe that Medellín’s transformation into such a creative place stems from the difficult and dark times the city has faced. Art came in as a lifeline, changing the reality for many young people who, in the past, saw limited options for their lives. Creativity, not only in the arts but also in business, public services, and technology, has created new opportunities and has given many people a way to express themselves and move forward. People in this city are known for their strength and resilience due to the challenges we’ve had to overcome—and continue to overcome—as a community. Creativity keeps emerging here as a tool to capture these realities and pave the way for a brighter future for everyone.

*Talk about your relationship with football.*

Since I was little, I’ve been incredibly competitive and passionate about sports, which have played an important role in my life, teaching me the value of discipline and commitment. I practiced everything from track and field to basketball, and I was good at it all! It makes sense—my first gift request to my parents, while other girls were asking for Barbies, was a ball. At 13, after years of volleyball and beach volleyball, I joined my first soccer team. Although I started relatively late, I managed to play competitively because I had spent my whole life playing soccer with my male friends. I played competitive soccer until I was 19, but it remains a significant part of my life. It’s an active meditation for me, something that connects me with my inner child and keeps me in the present. One of my dreams that I still hold onto is to see the Colombian team lift a World Cup trophy.

*What is it about football and football kits that appeals to you?*

I love wearing football gear because I’m a genuine fan of the game, the history, and its meaning in so many countries and cultures—and it looks great on me. It makes me feel comfortable, yet stylish and sexy, while also reminding me of the days when I used to play seriously.

*Any last words or projects you’d like to promote?*

I’d love for everyone to check out the song I made with Bloody called Bounty, and stay tuned for the music I’ll be releasing next year because it’s going to be incredible!
